I
Struggle to write
Crumple the paper, or erase
From the scratch, I rewrite
It doesn’t coalesce, so I erase
Again and again
Hands cramped, and
Brain too, but then
Waves hit and a
Tide rises bright like a poppy
Effortlessly ideas bloom
#GoldenShovel
This is a Golden Shovel written in tribute to the haiku, ‘A Poppy Blooms’ by Katsushika Hokusai.
I write, erase, rewrite
Erase again, and then
A poppy blooms
